South Island United v Auckland FC match postponed due to inclement weather in Melbourne
Severe thunderstorms in the area around the Home of the Matildas stadium has seen the match between South Island United and Auckland FC postponed.
The original kickoff of 3pm (local time) was pushed out to 3:45pm and then 4:15pm as the poor weather continued.
While the weather has cleared, water has pooled on the pitch making it unplayable.
Details on the rescheduling of the match will be announced in due course.
